The best achievement of the man's vision and dedication, the BOEDIHARDJO GROUP emerged out of a small transportation enterprise established in 1952. Founded by Mr. Boedihardjo Sastrohadiwirjo, the enterprise steadily evolved into a number of companies operating in Land, Sea and Air Transportation. In support of these companies a number of Trading and Forwarding companies were established. The establishment of PT. TRIKORA LLOYD Shipping Company in 1964, presented new opportunities for business contacts with overseas companies and the establishment of joint venture enterprise. These new ventures were aimed at filling the technology vacuum which was felt very strongly in Indonesia at that time, especially in offshore shipping and transportation.

In line with the nation's drive toward non-oil and gas exports the Group focused attention on some alternative spheres of business, in particular Financial Services, Trading, Mining and Industries. By prioritizing on organizational improvements and new business development, the Group expects to meet its highest expectations of becoming a major supporting element of national economic development and a source of inspiration for others
